No. Since 14 September 2022, .com.tr, .net.tr, and .org.tr are registered on a first-come, first-served basis, without documents. Some extensions, such as .gov.tr and .edu.tr, still require documents.
A domain is your site’s address on the internet (for example example.com). A visitor types that name. DNS turns the name into your server’s IP address. Your email address is tied to the same domain.
The name you type in the browser is turned into a server IP by looking up the A/AAAA records on the nameservers. The registry keeps which nameservers are valid. Site and email routing live in the DNS records.
Type the name you want in the search box, add an available extension to the cart, and complete the payment. With a card payment, registration is usually immediate. With a bank transfer, it finishes after confirmation. After registration, check the verification email.
.com is the best-known extension worldwide. .com.tr suits a Turkey-focused business and trust. Since 2022 you can register it without documents. Short .tr names can also be registered under TRABIS rules. Choose by brand and audience. Registering more than one extension is common for an important brand.
With a card payment, most generic extensions are registered within minutes. With a bank transfer, it finishes once the receipt is processed. For .tr extensions, the TRABIS process is usually fast as well. After you set DNS or nameservers, the site still needs time to propagate before it is visible.
For most generic extensions you can choose from 1 to 10 years. For .tr extensions (.com.tr and similar), the term is usually from 1 to 5 years. The options shown in the cart for that extension are the ones that apply. A longer registration reduces the chance of forgetting a renewal.
For .tr domains, use is suspended for 2 months after the term ends. You can renew during that time. If it is not renewed, the domain opens for registration again (there may be a short application restriction). For generic extensions such as .com, the site and email usually stop when the term ends. A short renewal window and a paid redemption period can follow. Keep auto-renew on.
If the domain is at MUVCloud, manage nameservers or DNS records (A, MX, TXT, and so on) from the client area. If it is at another company, change the NS records in that company’s panel to the addresses MUVCloud gives you. Propagation can take from a few minutes to 48 hours. During that time you may still see the old result now and then.
Yes. WHOIS privacy is free on domain registration and transfer at MUVCloud. Personal details are masked on a public lookup. TRABIS rules apply to .tr registrations. What privacy covers can vary by extension.
Under ICANN rules, for generic extensions, if you do not verify the registration contact email within the required time, the domain may be suspended (the site will not open). Check the inbox and spam. If the mail did not arrive, ask for it to be sent again from the panel or from support.
Try a close spelling or a different extension (.com.tr, .net, .io). Check the expiry date with WHOIS/RDAP. It may become available again when the term ends. If you have a trademark right, UDRP, or the TRABIS dispute path for .tr, may apply. That is a legal process, not a standard registration.
Under the TRABIS communiqué, city names, restricted words such as “bank” and “finance,” and some special names cannot be registered freely. Extensions such as .gov.tr, .edu.tr, and .av.tr require documents. A name that does not look available, or that is rejected, may be on the restricted list or under a document rule.
Yes. On extensions that support it, IDN registrations that include ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş, and ü are possible. Technically they are stored in punycode (xn--). For older systems and email compatibility, also register the ASCII (.com) equivalent.
Registry prices are listed in US dollars. The first-year price and the renewal price can differ. The amount in the cart and on the renewal screen is the one that applies.
Yes. The transfer starts with an EPP/authorization code. For .com and .net, a transfer usually includes a one-year extension. For .tr, the term does not change. The step-by-step guide is on the transfer page.
For generic extensions such as .com and .net, the transfer fee covers a one-year renewal. The expiry date moves forward by one year (for example, a name with 6 months left becomes 18 months). For .tr extensions, the transfer does not change the allocation period. The fee is a processing charge.
